Offsets and/or scales a height field along Y. Basically, a bit like the Brightness/Contrast functions in an image processing software.
This changes the gain of the terrain, effectively scaling the terrain's altitude values.
This will move the whole terrain up or down, without changing the scale of the values.
By default, Offset works in world units. Enable this option to work in relatio to the terrains altitude range.
Tip: This operator seems boring at first. But in confunction with Fields, it's a very handy tool for local adjustments.
